Disaster Response
Habitat El Salvador is particularly sensitive to families who lose their homes in natural disasters. We have developed housing reconstruction programs for families affected by Hurricane Mitch, the 2001 earthquakes, the tremors in Ahuachapán and Tropical Storm Ida. In total, Habitat El Salvador has served 7,000 disaster victims through the construction of 1,400 houses.

CHURCH RELATIONS
Habitat El Salvador develops "faith triangles" between national and international churches, thereby giving congregations the opportunity to put their faith into action. We work in partnership with a variety of denominations, including Mennonite, Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, Pentecostal, Lutheran, Catholic and Independent Evangelical.
